Introduction:

Since the contemporary era of digitalization, technology consistently altered several industries, including the field of Human Resources. The integration of technology into human resources (HR) practices, sometimes referred to as HR Tech, in conjunction with automation, is revolutionizing conventional HR jobs and duties, offering enhanced efficiency, precision, and a heightened strategic orientation. This discourse aims to explore the profound impact of HR Technology and Automation on the field of Human Resources, elucidating the transformative nature of these advancements.

The emergence of HR automation can be attributed to the substantial time and physical paperwork associated with routine HR activities. If human resources experts within your team allocate a significant portion of their time to administrative tasks rather than effectively utilizing their unique abilities in other parts of the organization, it is imperative to explore other approaches to work. (Jay, n.d.)

If one holds a position as a human resources leader, it is probable that they have made investments in technology to address their most significant obstacles. These investments may include improving data analytics capabilities for both the HR team and the overall organization, successfully competing for top talent, modernizing HR operations using cloud-based solutions, effectively managing remote or hybrid work arrangements, and other related endeavors.

These expenditures may also contribute to a wider transformation of your operational capabilities as you increasingly adopt cloud computing technologies.
